Baby Online Direct - Verification Process
We are committed to protect all payments made through our website. Once a transaction has been made, Baby Online Direct may request to verify the person who has purchased the goods is the same person who has placed the order. This protects the card that was used for the sale and if verification cannot be supplied to the same details then we are not able to dispatch out your order.
The reason we require a security check is to protect the card holder. So if the method of purchase is made via a manual entry of a credit card and over our threshold or if the purchaser is a different name to the recipient or if transaction is made from an overseas account a security check will be requested. Please note that Paypal, Afterpay, Zip, Openpay and Latitude Pay services are all pre approved and verified payment systems so a security check is generally not required for purchases used via these methods however if we are not able to identify recipient you may be contacted to verify.
Once identification is received and approved providing goods are in stock, your order will then be dispatched within 1 business day.
We accept the following forms of identification via our system: Vehicle License, Medicare card, Utility Bill or any other government certified document which has the same first and last name as the card used for the transaction.
Rest assure that any personal identification received is only used for security check purposes through our system and as soon as ID is verified, all evidence will be destroyed from our records by our system.
